ClassyAds is a classified ads script with lots of features. It uses a full MySQL database as a backend, is fast, and easy to use.
This is is a MySQL/DBI Perl script, and has the following features:Clients register and must confirm email first before posting adsClients can add ads to categories, and some categories can be charged forThe payment process is automatic using PayPal, and works by depositing money in their account first, which they can use toward their adsThere are RSS feeds of the various categoriesYou may search the ads, or view ads by categoriesPaid categories move to the top of the list automaticallyYou may view all ads by sellerSellers can include pictures with their ads, and they are uploaded and resized automaticallyAds expire in each category at a preset time, determined specifically for each categorySeller may select up to four payment options (for accepting payment) when adding itemsPayment is handled by the sellerThere are anti-spam measures in placeBuyers can communicate with sellers through the site, without divulging their email address if they so chooseSellers are alerted to messages posted to themEach item has it's own message board for discussionThe "look" of the script is completely customizable and very easy to changeThe header displays the number of sellers, items for sale, and who is currently onlineThe script automatically generates category listsYou can lists all items for sale in specific countries, provinces, and citiesThe script keeps track of how many page views each item has had...
